Terms of service
These terms apply when you create an Ellora account or use the service. Creating an account means you accept them.

What Ellora is
Ellora is a hosted writing-review service. You connect your own LLM app to Ellora, and Ellora checks the text you send it against your voice profiles, writing briefs and rules, then returns findings. The Ellora web app is where you set those up and read the history. Ellora does not publish anything for you, and it does not write for you.
Your account
- Give us a real email address that you control, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by an app you connect to it. Keep your sign-in and connections secure, and tell us promptly if you think they have been misused.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you sign up for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Plans
Solo accounts are for one person and include one voice profile and no additional members, as described in the app. We may change what Solo includes, and we will tell you by email or in the app before a material change takes effect.
Team access is arranged with us directly. Fees, term and support are set out in the written agreement for your team. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins. The app does not take payments.
Your content
- You own the text you send to Ellora, and the profiles, briefs and settings you create. You confirm you have the right to use them with the service.
- You give us permission to store and process that content only to run the service for you: to check it, keep your history, show it to the members of your workspace, and keep the service secure and working. Authorised Ellora staff may access it for support and operations, and those views are logged.
- We store each review in full, including the text you submitted, until a workspace admin deletes the content session it belongs to. Deleting a session removes its drafts, findings and runs.
- We do not use your content to train any model, ours or anyone else’s.
The Privacy page explains what else we hold and why.
Using the service
Please do not:
- submit content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful;
- try to reach another workspace’s data, or another person’s account;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or create accounts automatically;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, except where the law allows it.
Reviews are guidance
Ellora’s findings are automated and can be wrong or incomplete. They are not legal, compliance or editorial advice, and Ellora does not check facts or claims. A passing review does not mean your writing is accurate, original or fit to publish. You decide what to publish.
Your LLM apps and other services
The LLM apps you connect to Ellora are run by other companies under their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. By connecting one, you authorise it to send content to Ellora on your behalf.
Changes to the service
Ellora is still being built. Features change, and there may be interruptions. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Ending your use
You can stop using Ellora at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its content at [email protected]. We will do so, except for what the law requires us to keep and what remains for a limited time in routine backups. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if we need to protect the service or other people, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
Warranties and liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Also to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we will email you or tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Ellora after that, you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using it. The date at the top shows the current version.
General
These terms, together with any written agreement for your team, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
